It is not possible to give a succinct summary of the physical characteristics of our (XANMOO BAA) (which could be translated as computers).
We can, however, highlight the basic differences between the equipment used by you and that of UMMO.
In the first place, you distinguish between digital computers and analogue computers.
Data processors store information by coding it in the binary number system and sequencing it in the form of words or characters that are reduced to “bits”. The structure of the arithmetic units is designed so as to reduce the complexity of the circuits in this way.
In EARTH analogue computers, a series of suitably interconnected modules, with special circuits (integrators, differentiators...), interpret any physical process in the form of an analogous function, but projected with electric potentials, which in short is reduced to a series of sinusoidal functions of different amplitude, frequency and phase.
Our XANMOO BAA are, from the functional point of view, simultaneously digital and analogue: when, for example, a problem of analytical geometry is posed, the XAN ELOO (which may be translated as output organs or units) not only provide discontinuous quantitative (digital) results, giving for example in ENMOO EE (units of area) the area of a hyperboloid of revolution, but one also obtains at will the graph of its equation and the three-dimensional display of its image (analogue operations).
It being understood that the selection of the analogue equipment involved in the process is preprogrammed in what you would call (routines integrated in a peripheral memory unit), although the physical process and the names are quite different, and by an operation of a digital type in base 12 they are in turn reflected in the overall process.
OPERATIONAL BASE.
There is no doubt that if you use electronic valves or transistors in your circuits, a type of coding that you call BOOLEAN, of the ALL-NOTHING (> | -) ZERO-ONE type, is imposed. The arithmetic units work with a higher performance and with a degree of reliability that they would not obtain using your base 10 system.
Thus operations in the binary system such as:
101 + 111 = 1100
(5) + (7) = (12)
may require, if the figures are large, a great number of bits to express them.
The IYOAEE BOO units and the XANWAABUUASII (TITANIUM MEMORIES), on the other hand, can operate in the real base of UMMO (that is: 12), as we shall now see.
“AMPLIFIER CIRCUITS” - IYOAEE BOO (CALCULATING CIRCUITS).
The voltage or current amplifying devices of EARTH are based on the properties of cathode emission in a vacuum, controlled by an auxiliary electrode (grid), or on the characteristics of the solid state, as in the case of germanium or silicon diodes and transistors, an ingenious invention unknown to us.
But note that such circuits DO NOT AMPLIFY ENERGY; what is more, the output power is always lower than the input power (Efficiency less than one). They only amplify voltage at the expense of energy generated in an auxiliary energy source (BATTERY OR ALTERNATING CURRENT RECTIFIER).
The ODU-GOAA elements (nucleic amplifiers) have totally different characteristics:
First: The base is not electronic (Neither vacuum nor solid-state crystal) but nucleic (Nucleus of the Atom). A weak input energy (single neutrons or protons striking a few atoms) causes a great energy by fission of the nucleus.
Second: We see, then, that the efficiency is much greater than one. At the output of the elementary amplifier we obtain this energy in a NON-ELECTRICAL but THERMAL form, although in a subsequent process this heat is transformed into ELECTRICAL ENERGY.
Third: Since the basis of these elements is purely atomic (and since not trillions of atoms but only a few units come into play), the degree of miniaturization is extraordinary, making it possible to house extremely complex circuits in very small volumes.
In the drawing you can observe the symbolic analogy between a TRIODE (
EARTH amplifying valve) and an ODU GOAA (UMMO amplifying element).

Observe that an input energy (Green arrow) can control a large energy (Red arrow), but only control it! It does not generate energy; it controls the electrical energy coming from the Battery (
).
In the ODU GOAA, on the contrary, a very weak energy (NEUTRON) (GREEN ARROW) causes a nuclear split in a single atom
whose fission releases an enormous energy (Red arrow), captured by the AASNEII (
) and transformed from heat into electricity in (
).
In principle this process is analogous to the one you use in nuclear reactors or atomic piles, but controlled by a single atom in our ODU GOAA.
In the digital computers of Earth, units called arithmetic units carry out elementary operations (additions, subtractions...) at high speed using transistorized modules.
UMMO uses IYOAEE BOO, based on chemical-nuclear reactions on a microphysical scale, instead of transistors.
For this purpose we use a few hundred of these basic reactions, specifically chosen so that the digits used are expressed in the base 12 system.
For example: the coding of this addition, and its corresponding verification.
12 + 1 = 13
Is carried out by means of this reaction. (In which not billions of atoms take part, as if the reacting masses were large, but perfectly controlled micromasses.
C126 + H11 = N137
The result of the reaction is analysed with extraordinary precision, being coded again for a further sequential operation.
THE BASIC STRUCTURE OF THE XANWAABUASII DIIO (TITANIUM MEMORIES)
The digital computers of EARTH generally use a central memory of magnetic ferrite cores and various peripheral memory units of magnetic tape, discs, drums or rods with a helical band.
All of them are capable of storing, magnetically coded, a very limited number of “bits” (although the figures run to several million).
Access times, on the other hand, are very acceptable.
Let us now see in an elementary way the technical basis of our XANWAABUASII (data accumulators in TITANIUM).
The problem arose when the old photoelectric memories (large surfaces of selenium where the figures were memorized in the form of light pulses which, projected onto those plates, were recorded in the form of electrostatically charged points) proved insufficient (because of the large volume required to house them) to store the thousands of trillions of figures required by millions of OBXANWAII (which may be translated as “ROUTINES”) and NUMERICAL DATA of a CALCULATION programme. (We have never used magnetostatic memorization).
DAOO/6 (SON) of DAOO/4 planned for the first time to code numerical data or CHARACTERS microphysically (neither optically nor magnetically), on an IBOAAYANOA basis (which could be translated as “QUANTUM”).
We know that the electron shell of an atom can be excited, the electrons reaching various energy levels which EARTH calls quantum levels. The transition from one state to another takes place by releasing or absorbing quantized energy that has an associated characteristic frequency. Thus an electron of a TITANIUM atom can change state in the shell, releasing an IBOAAAYA OOU (PHOTON); but in the DIIO (TITANIUM) atom, as in other chemical elements, the electrons can pass into several states, emitting various types of IBOAAYA ODU (PHOTONS or “QUANTA”) of various frequencies. You call this phenomenon the “characteristic emission spectrum of this chemical element”, and it allows it to be identified by spectroscopic analysis.
Well then, if we succeed in altering at will the quantum state of this electron shell of the DIIO (TITANIUM), we can turn it into a carrier, store or accumulator of an elementary message, a NUMBER.
If the atom is capable, for example, of reaching 12 or more states, each of these levels will symbolize or CODE a digit, from (
to
) zero to twelve.
What is more: a simple TITANIUM pellet consists of billions of atoms. We can therefore imagine the coded information it will be able to store. No other MACROPHYSICAL MEMORY base can be compared with it.
The TITANIUM blocks we use must have a perfect crystalline structure and a degree of chemical purity of 100% efficiency. The inclusion of a few impurity atoms (iron, molybdenum, silicon...) would be enough to make that block unusable.
You may ask yourselves: how is it possible to access those atoms of the block one by one, in order to code them by exciting them or to extract the stored information (decoding)?
An elementary diagram or drawing will clarify ideas.

Three beams (symbolized in the drawing by the colours crimson, blue and green), of infinitesimal cross-section and very high frequency, strike a block of TITANIUM (they are therefore capable of passing through the block without affecting the nuclei of its atoms, (but they do affect their respective electron shells); frequencies of the order of (8,35 · 1021 cycles per sec.) are used, for example, different for each beam. (
) are the frequency generators.
These high frequencies fall outside the characteristic spectrum of TITANIUM, so that these beams, considered independently, are not capable of exciting its shell electrons one by one.
But this is not the case when the three rays strike a specific ATOM simultaneously (the
in the drawing). Then the superposition or mixing of the three frequencies causes an effect long known to you, called BEATING or HETERODYNING, which results in a much lower frequency that coincides with one of the spectral lines of TITANIUM.
The atom is thus excited, and since the three orthogonal beams can be moved in space with great precision, they locate one by one all the atoms of the Block.
We must make the following complementary clarifications, since in an effort to simplify we have sketched the system in a childish way.
The decoding process (forcing the electron shell to return to its initial quantum state) is carried out in reverse.
1st.- In practice, only ten quantum states are used for each TITANIUM atom, corresponding to the following spectral lines:
323452
334902
334940
336122
337280 (expressed in
399864 EARTH units)
430591
453324
453478
453558
This means that for each quantum-coded figure (base 12) we need to excite not one but two atoms (10 + 2).
2nd.- Since, once decoded, the atom is reduced to its initial state, unlike a toroidal ferrite core, which yields its information (without losing its magnetic excitation) an indefinite number of times:
Each coded figure is repeated a few hundred thousand times in order to have sufficient information stored.
3rd.- It is very important that the atoms should have great spatial stability in the TITANIUM crystal, since any thermal oscillation would make it impossible for the three high-frequency beams to locate them. The TITANIUM crystal works at a temperature practically equal to absolute zero.
INPUTS AND OUTPUTS IN THE XANMOO (ELECTRONIC BRAINS).
In the digital computers of EARTH, various programming codes or languages intelligible to heterogeneous equipment are used. Thus you have devised MACHINE LANGUAGES such as FORTRAN, COBOL, PAF, ALGOL, UNCOL, ...
You enter this coded information into the computer by means of punched cards, punched tape, magnetic tape or optical and magnetic reading of typed characters.
On the other hand, you obtain the results or solution of the problem, in digital or analogue computers, through various output devices (cathode-ray oscillographs, typographic printers, tape punches or curve plotters).
The XANMOO of UMMO directly absorb the data of the problem and its statement (provided the latter is well formulated) in the STANDARD language of UMMO, supplied in typographic characters or phonically.
A complex programming stored in the XANMO since the manufacture of the equipment interprets the logical elements of the statement, absorbs the typified data and, in case of doubt, raises the question through the data OUTPUT equipment.
Results are obtained with three types of GAA EIBIENEE (which could be translated as image displays).
(GAA OBEE A) Printers (Typography, Line and graded Ink, polychrome or black and white).
(GAA DNMAAEI) Numerical displays (simple base-twelve counters).
(UUEIN GAA EIMII) Three-dimensional Image displays.
